Bought these boots for work, they are very well made and very comfortable with the exception of the heel as the stitching gave me very bad blisters (which is the reason why i have given these boots 4 stars instead of 5). But a pair of £2.50 blister pads solved the blister problem and now these are the most comfortable and definately the coolest pair of footwear i have ever owned. Not sure if I will buy another pair one these ones have worn out (which is going to take a while) but that is only because I want to try the Magnum Spider Urban 5.1 boots. Read Less

My only let down is the lace eyelets have torn with use but don't affect the overall use. Will be replacing these in time with the 8' model. Read Less

Fantastic standard issue boots , very comfy. they have protected my toes on multiple occasions from sharps trolley beds and a bus that decided it didn't like me. I work for London Underground and as such wear boots for 8 hours a day, which includes long periods of standing on the spot and walking around the station.The Underground supplied boot although from a well known manufacturer (DM) made my feet feel like that of a 90 year old, so i took the decision to buy my own.A police friend of mine recomended Magnum Boots. Four years later im still buying them. My current pair being Stealth Force 6.0 leather. I have had these boots 2 years now and i can honestly say there the most comfatable boots ive ever owned. I have tried the zipped magnums but found the zip to be the weak link in the boot as after 4 months this let go leaving me with a huge gap where the rain duly soaked my feet. So for the next pair I chose the non zipped pair and after 2 years no seam has split the leather is still not cracked. However when it comes to the inside of the boot after aprox 1 year the insole at the toe end started to roll up. This slowly got worse until the whole insole came away from the rest of the boot, but after 1800 hours of sweaty feet inside what can you expect. Have to say i did superglue the sole back in and has stayed put sincewith no loss of comfort.My only other down side to this boot is the laces. I like my boots to be quite tight therefore my laces are duly pulled to accomodate this.After around 4 months of use the laces frayed then let go revealing the core of the lace. Im not sure wether anything can be done to laces as i have tried many brands and found exactly the same. So to sum up Comfort 9/10 Quality 8/10 Durability 9/10 Value 8/10 Read Less

I Have been in EMS for 18 years I am on my 2nd pair of Magnums in 3 years your boots are great well made and i love the whicking material it keeps my feet dry and cool. I love the side zipper options. I work 24 hr shifts and when seconds count the ability to throw on my magnums and be on my way to respond to another 911 Medical Emergency. Read Less

They were really comfortable and sturdy so i was really happy with them. After i had done my ankle in they were the most suitable boots for my ankle . I have owned a pair of these for over 2 years now. I am a Police Officer and wear these daily at work. To me, these boots feel as comfortable as trainers now, they have held up against all weather conditions and some very nasty surfaces that I have walked on (we're talking the tops of fences lined with barbed wire, smashed glass, various bodily fluids!). Amazingly I haven't even needed to change the laces yet, I can honestly say that the only thing I am considering is a new pair of insoles (however this would be the case with any boots after 2 years) I'm not the type of officer who bulls his boots on a regular basis, but I do keep then clean and with a layer of two of polish and to me they still look good as new. The pair I purchased come with side zips, these are great for a fast release, and also when on foot in hot weather you can leave the zip half open and get some much needed ventilation to your feet. Overall, I would recomend Magnums to any serving or prospective Police Officer. Read Less
