I've been using these boots for a full 2 years now in all weathers and they are by far the best boots I have ever had. Thats 2 years of daily front line response policing.Paylaş
I have found with other boots, I am ready for a soul and conscience letter from my GP by the end of the day, but the comfort levels are fantastic. Whether in the office or out and about I have never had any grief.
They are lightweight so no matter what your day brings you don't feel like they are carting around a pair of breeze blocks.
The lowered back takes the pressure off your calf muscle and makes walking, running and driving so much more comfortable.
The tread provides good traction in soft mud, loose gravel and even icy pavements, they don't clog up with debris, so even your granny will let you wear them inside after abusing them.
The leather provides enough protection from surface water and can bull up nicely too if you can be bothered, while the nylon allows your feet the breath, so your feet stay cool in the height of summer and cosy in the winter without the need for thick socks on all but the coldest of days.
My only concern was the lack of a toe cap but I can't say I've missed it, the kick pad on the back of the heel has proved much more useful.
The side zip is really sturdy, but it did eventually burst open, but it was my fault to be honest. I should add, generous lashings of electrical tape made good the damage short term and I did actually manage to get the zipper back in.
I have since replaced them with the exact same boot, less the side zip. It's really not that much more hassle tying laces.
All round winner.
