Magnum product developers have relied upon M.T.A.C., the Magnum Tactics Advisory Commission, for many years. Over that time, improvements and suggestions from loyal, dedicated Magnum customers have proven to be invaluable. As announced to M.T.A.C. members via email, a new program was launched in early 2010: Magnum Field Testers.
So what's the difference?
At its core, the two separate programs are the same:
- Customers join the program
- Customers tell it like it is
- Magnum listens and makes a better product
From there, the differences begin. With M.T.A.C., Magnum collected data in private through Personal Wear Tests (PWTs). Each member gave a detailed report on a product, and Magnum compiled the data behind the scenes, using it to make even better products going forward.
Then, Magnum realized that all of this data would not only be useful for future products, but could help in the present as well. This is the major difference: the new Field Testers program displays all of these testimonials and product reviews to everyone in the world. When a person expresses an opinion through Magnum Field Testers, it will be heard by all. Magnum wanted to make a great store of knowledge about our product, from our customers' perspective. Hard-working men and women share their thoughts not only with Magnum, but with their fellow professionals. This allows anyone who needs our products to make an informed, unbiased opinion.
How do I take part?
If you are already a member of M.T.A.C., we want to firstly thank you for all of your dedication and insight over the past several years. Secondly, you will need to Join Magnum Field Testers by filling out a simple form. Since what Field Testers say on this new forum will be visible to the public, we cannot (for privacy reasons) simply automatically transfer your M.T.A.C. membership to Field Testers. Magnum has always respected the privacy of its customers, which is why Field Testers have the option to choose an annonymous screen name when they join.
