I started my carrier in the marine time industry as a engineer and bought a pair of these boots. In an average temperature of 130 degrees plus with diesel, heavy oils, and steel decks, the boots simply would not quit. The only part of the boot that became worn was the toe area where the leather began to deteriorate with constant smacking over time. A great boot and a great purchase.
