Agregar una Reseña Stealth Force 8.0 Leather CT CP

I got my first pair of Magnum back in 2008 (Stealth Force 8.0), upgrading to the CT CP in 2011. We research & document historic sites all over the UK & overseas, encountering all sorts of terrain.Compartir
These boots have been underground in caves & old mines, the rugged terrain of Dartmoor, the Egyptian desert & the oil fields of Baku, Azerbaijan. I thought the heat in Egypt would create an issue but far from it.
I chose the 8.0 CT CP version for the sole reason of ankle support & protection as many of the sites we document have hidden dangers such as uneven ground & barb wire entangled in the undergrowth. An awkward fall from a height of around 15' proved the shock absorption good & proper, & the doctor felt that without the protection the boot offered, it would have resulted in a much worse injury than damaged ligaments.
A recent trip to Baku took us to some of the most challenging terrain we have experienced yet with mud volcanoes, oil fields & the mountainous regions. Needless to say that the boots were essential bit of kit!
The only issue, if I really had to pick one, would be the clogging of the sole that weighs the boot down. This is only on terrain such as clay, mudflats & the oil fields. That said, a quick jump up & down on harder ground soon releases the mass & I haven't come across any other heavy duty footwear that alleviates the problem.
Overall, these boots are & will continue to be an essential piece of my kit, & have a third pair on the way that once again will be thoroughly put through their paces. If you haven't tried a pair of Magnums yet, or are thinking of a purchasing quality, sturdy footwear, you won't be disappointed!
