The Good and The Bad

I have owned two pair of these boots for over two years now. They are awesomely comfortable. I have owned four pairs of Magnum boots over the past four years they have all been awesomely comfortable. The two previous that I have owned are no longer in production or aren't available for review.Compartir
These boots are not a bank breaker. They are actually cheaper than most of the other boots from any other manufacturer.
Magnum boots are the most comfortable boots on the market, hands down. It doesn’t matter if you are on your feet all day, chasing suspects, or sitting in a vehicle, Magnum boots are the most comfortable. The waterproofing lasts forever. I don’t understand why any boot manufacturer would make a boot that is not waterproof, but that is another topic. These boots will also keep your feet nice and toasty in the winter.
It has been my experience that Magnum boots in the summertime will set your feet on fire. All of the insulation makes them fantastic and warm in the winter but on the pavement in the Virginia sun on a 90+ degree day and your feet are going to be feeling it in these boots. The only other issue that I have had with Magnum boots is the soles begin to wear out after only about six months. At eight months I had to throw one pair of these away because the sole had split around the arch and was peeling off.
I would and have recommended this boot to others. I do not currently wear them for work anymore as I have changed companies and am now required to wear an 8” boot with composite toe. I currently am trying out a pair from another manufacturer due to the summer heat issues. I would love it if Magnum came out with a lighter summertime boot that wouldn’t hold in so much heat. For the price and the comfort I am sure I will be coming back to Magnum in the fall.
